Welcome to McLean Youth (MYA) Volleyball. Our mission is to provide student athletes the opportunity to learn, play and enjoy the sport of volleyball. There are two primary seasons: Girls Volleyball during the Spring and Boys Volleyball during the Fall. It is open to McLean and non-McLean residents.

• November 29, 2023: Registration opened (it will return to Jan 1 in 2025)
• February 19: Registration closed
• March 1, 6 and 8: MS Select Round 1 tryouts (this is not a league-wide skills assessment)
• March 3: Deadline to update availability and friend requests through the new RosterBuddy Player Portal (opens in late February)
• March 7: HS Travel tryout (this is not a league-wide skills assessment)
• March 10: HS Travel Draft
• March 11: MS Select Round 2 callback tryout (invitation only)
• March 12: MS Select draft
• March 12-22: Free skills clinics
• March 13: Coaches Q&A Session #1 8:00pm to 9:00pm
• March 13: HS Select tryout (this is not a league-wide skills assessment)
• March 14: HS Select draft
• March 18: House team rosters and practice schedules published
• March 18-22: HS Travel, HS Select and MS Select team practices begin
• March 19: Coaches Q&A Session #2 9:00pm to 10:00pm
• March 23-31: FCPS & APS Spring Break GYMS CLOSED
• April 1-5: House team practices begin
• April 6: Pre-Season match for HS Select and MS Select teams
• April 13: Match #1
• April 20: Match #2
• April 27: Match #3
• May 4: Match #4
• May 11: Match #5
• May 18: Match #6 and Three-in-A-Row Froyo Challenge
• May 25-27: Memorial Day Weekend GYMS CLOSED 
• June 1-2: Playoffs for House and Select Leagues
• June 3-7: All-Stars Events
