Welcome parents and players to McLean Youth Athletics - MYA.


Our vision is that any child in the McLean Community, from kindergarten through high school, interested in a sport can play a sport.


Our goal is to provide organized sports programs for all children in the McLean community. We strive to promote sportsmanship, teamwork, leadership, competition, skill building and fitness to all players. And our pledge is to provide a safe and proper environment for these activities to take place.

Congratulations to McLean Youth Volleyball's own Chuck Pruitt for receiving a 2014 Character of Champion award from Fairfax County Athletic Council for his contribution to the growth of youth volleyball in the area.


MYA is now accepting applications for the annual Youth Leader Scholarship awards. Appications will be accepted Januray 1, 2015 through February 20,2015.

Join MYA in celebrating a brand new gym in Mclean at the newly renovated and expanded Spring Hill RECenter.  MYA worked hard advocating for this much needed gym space.


There is now a full-size gym, lined for basketball and volleyball, with an elevated track and spectator seating.  The fitness center is new and the men's and women's locker rooms have been renovated.

Are you interested in serving youth sports in McLean? Now is your opportunity!


Elections for the McLean Youth Athletics (MYA) Board of Directors are coming in March 2015 and the Nominations Committee is seeking candidates for Board members including President, 2d Vice President, and at Large Board Members.   Please email a statement of interest to Mike Clancy, Chairman of the Nominations Committee by February 6, 2015.


This year some Board member slots are being considered for high school students, one from the McLean High School District and one from the Langley High School District.  To be eligible, a student must be a junior this year and commit to serve a term from March 2015 to March 2016.   If you are interested, please email the following information to Mike Clancy by February 6, 2015.


Statement of interest (100-150 words) on why you are interested in serving on the Board; and


Resume providing contact information; identifying the high school you attend and the school district (McLean or Langley) where you live; your GPA; your school activities; and your activities outside of school, including your involvement in sports.
